This is our music director Dan Marineau.

Dan Marineau Hello! I am Dan Marineau, St. Alban's Music Director and Organist.

As a child, I was my hometown's, Watertown, New York, lone boy soprano soloist.  After several years of piano lessons, I began pipe organ instruction.  When I was sixteen years old I became organist for two small American Baptist churches - commuting to these two communities for Saturday evening choir rehearsal and then the two services each Sunday morning.  Soon I took a position as organist and choir director.  Later, I went on to several other denominations' music programs.

Since that time, I went into the U.S. Army as the post protestant Chaplain's assistant - organist and choir director for his Lutheran service throughout that assignment.  When that chaplain retired to become pastor of a Lutheran church in Decatur, Georgia, he contacted me to move South and to become his music director, once again.

After several years I took the position of music director and organist for three other Episcopal churches in metro Atlanta before coming to St. Alban's.

Our adult choir sings for Sunday morning services, Sunday evening prayer with Taize' songs, Christmas caroling at nursing homes, and a home tour.  We have two choir retreats each year - in anticipation of the Advent/Christmas season and then the Lenten/Holy Week/Easter season.

Together, we lead the congregation in the rich heritage of church music -Psalms, plainsong, folk tunes, hymns, Taize' tunes and classical anthems.

Our ministry at St. Alban's is God's offering of our time and talents helping Him preach the word of love and salvation.

We invite you to join our non-auditioned choir rehearsal on Wednesday at 6:00 P.M. and on Sunday at 9:00 A.M. for a warm-up rehearsal before the worship service.  Come, help us spread God's good news!
